Do you know who was...

...Ricardo Eliécer Neftalí Reyes Basoalto?

Pablo Neruda

Pablo Neruda (July 12, 1904 – September 23, 1973) IT was the pen name and, later, legal name of the Chilean writer and politician Neftalí Ricardo Reyes Basoalto. With his works translated into many languages, Pablo Neruda is considered one of the greatest and most influential poets of the 20th century.

He chose his pen name in honour of the famous Czech poet Jan Neruda.

Neruda was accomplished in a variety of styles ranging from surrealist poems, historical epics, and overtly political manifestos. In 1971 Neruda won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Colombian novelist Gabriel García Márquez once called him "the greatest poet of the 20th century in any language."

Neruda always wrote in green ink as it was the color of "esperanza" (hope).

Socrates was a greek philosopher

' Scio me nihil scire or scio me nescire '

'One thing i only know and is that I know nothing'

By Carla Bruni

Socrates was a Greek Philosopher ( 469- 399b.c)  having become dedicated to the study of philosophy . One of the sayings that i would like to point out today is the below

' Scio me nihil scire or scio me nescire '

which is one of the best well known and personally one of my favorite quotes of this philosopher.

Do never underestimate someone.. Apparently some people  intent surprise you thinking they know more that one's think.  Brilliant, but wrong. A fact, is that we cannot know anything with absolute certainly but we can feel confident about certain things  and those don't betray us.

Socrates still is a magnificent teacher from where we can learn to realise that  what really matters regarding one's knowledge is  how we absorb what we have learnt through the years and the way has been implemented for good in our life... that's the philosophy itself   knowing that you know nothing

Good night...
